I've been re-reading the wonderful comic book Fables and decided to make some icons. I noticed along the way that it wouldn't be too hard to pull some great textures from the covers. The following 45 textures are taken (3 each) from the first 15 issues.

I first started making icons almost 4 years ago, and enjoyed it enough to make a dedicated journal. Not too long after, I decided they were taking up too much time I could be using in a more productive manner. After a 3 year hiatus, I randomly got the icon making itch again - and while they aren't a practical use of my time, who says a creative hobby needs to be practical?

I have deleted all my old posts, as the icons shown were no longer hosted anywhere. I will be re-posting the best of my old icons over the next few weeks, and posting new icons, bases and textures fairly regularly. Hopefully I'll stick around more than a few months this time!

I no longer have a resource listing for my old (2005) icons. If you happen to recognize a texture or brush please let me know!

I have grabbed many resources over the years. I will give credit here as I use them.
